Vegetable Daal


  • Potato                                  4 scratch them
  • Tomato                                8-10
  • Ginger Garlic                      1 tbsp, milled
  • Red Chili                               1 tbsp , powder
  • Turmeric                              1 tsp
  • Tamarind juice                  ½ cup
  • Green Chili                          4
  • Curry Leaves                      Some Leaves
  • Salt                                         as per taste

For Bhagar:

  • Whole red chili                  4
  • White cumin                      ½ tsp
  • Curry leaves                       some leaves
  • Oil                                           ½ cup


  1. Put 4 cup of water with potatoes and tomatoes & boil them, when potato turns soft, bland water, potatoes and tomatoes in blander again put them into cooking bowl.
  2. Put ginger, garlic, chili, turmeric, tamarind juice, green chili, salt and curry leaves in it and cook on a low flame when green chili become soft, daal is read.
  3. Hot oil in frying pan and put all ingredients of Bhagar in it when they turn black put Bhagar on daal. Serve it with plain rice.
