Arvi Dum

Ingredients

  • (colocasia esculenta) root (arvi)-1/2 kg
  • Coriander Seeds-1 tbsp
  • Crushed Red Pepper-1 tbsp
  • Turmeric-1/2 tsp
  • White Cumin-1 tsp
  • Carom Seeds (ajwain)-1 tsp
  • Kalonji-1 tsp
  • Tamarind syrup-2 tbsp
  • Lemon-2
  • Oil-As required
  • Salt-To taste

Method

  • Boil the (colocasia esculenta) root and peel it.
  • Marinate (colocasia esculenta) root with all the ingredients and leave it for 10 minutes.
  • After that take a cooking boil heat up oil and put methi dana, now add (colocasia esculenta) root in it and cook it over slow flame.
  • after 15 minutes delicious Arvi ready to eat.
