Jal Zeera


  • Tamarind                             1 tbsp
  • Water                                   2 ½ liter
  • Dry Ginger                          2 tbsp (Milled)
  • Salt                                         as per taste
  • Sugar                                     1 cup
  • White Cumin                      1 tbsp (Chopped and roasted)
  • Black Salt                             a sprinkle


  1. take a stainless steel cooking bowl and put water in it, then put tamarind, sugar, cumin, salt and dry ginger in it and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Then take it off a let be cool then put black salt on it.
  3. Before serving it,first  put ice cubes in glass then jal zeera and some mint leaves on it.
  4. Don’t put black salt when it is hot.
