Fish Curry in Coconut Water

Ingredients:

  • Rahu or Brown Fish                         1 Kg
  • White Vinegar                                   ½ Cup
  • Turmeric                                              1 ¼ Tsp
  • Curry Leaves                                      10-12    
  • Fenugreek seed               (Methi Dana)    6 Seeds
  • Whole Mustard                                                ½ Tsp
  • Ginger Garlic                                      1 Tbsp Grind
  • Tomato                                                                3
  • Red Chili Powder                              1 Tbsp
  • Green Chili                                          6
  • Tamarind Juice                                  ½ Cup
  • Crude Coconut Water                    2 Cup
  • Lemon                                                  2
  • Mustard oil                                         1 Cup
  • Salt                                                         As Per Taste

Method:

  1. Before Washing fish Pieces paste turmeric and half cup of Vinegar on it for 20 minutes then wash it and put it in filter bowl.
  2. Keep hot oil in cooking bowl and put some curry leaves, Fenugreek seeds (Methi Dana) and Mustard , when it turns black add ginger, garlic, tomato, one tsp turmeric, red chili and roast it.
  3. Fry fish in frying pan when it turns brown take it out and spread it on ready spices and put coconut water, tamarind juice, lemon juice, salt, green chili and curry leaves on it and cook it on low flame when oil comes up your fish curry is ready.
